Included in our heritage range of restoration brass light switches you will find the following quality antique reproduction electrical fittings like the original Polished Brass switch with a porcelain base which comes with a smooth or fluted cover also known as ribbed or jelly mould.
Other finisher available in the heritage range include Antique Brass and Polished Chrome along with the beautiful Florentine Bronze selection. Satin Chrome is also another popular choice among the long list of renovators that have come accustomed to the original Clipsal Heritage Range.
The current selection is still made with all the quality components used in the original range with the same standard of workmanship previous installers are use to. And now with the new Black and White Heritage range you now have a greater choice to complete any style of renovation or new build.
The Black and White range comes powder coated including the toggle which offers a extremely durable finish whilst still using all of the Clipsal heritage components used in the original light switches.
We can also offer other accessories including brass covered gpo's and dimmer modules along with 3 speed ceiling fan controllers in all the finishers mention above. The communication outlets are still part of the heritage range along with the wonderful choice of mounting blocks in Cedar Stained , Plain Pine or Undercoated all of which are predrilled.
The Clipsal Heritage Range was brought onto market to offer an electric light switch similar to the old fashioned gas valve that had a toggle mechanism and porcelain base with a brass cover. With this introduction in mind Clipsal has captivated the renovation market not only in this part of the world but the United Kingdom , Ireland and Denmark.
Since 1984 the heritage range has had a massive contribution to the renovation of old Queenslanders through Australia and brought joy to many architects and designers to have this range at their disposal.
The brass light switches without a porcelain base was and still is a cheaper version then the original porcelain based switch but still having all the fine qualities of the based styles.
The 343 style pull cord switch also known as the 58 series became obsolete in 2018, however we are happy to now supply you with a compromise while using a Schneider module and the other fine parts made to complete the Clipsal Heritage Switches.
These ceiling pull cord switches come a wide variation of styles and colours which can be found on the site by searching for pull cords.
As mentioned earlier the Clipsal Heritage Range is still available now only using different part numbers, if you are familiar with the old part numbers we are more them happy to cross reference.
