Even if you are renovating, these Architectural Light Switches by the well know Australian brand name of Tradco can easily replace the standard plastic light switches to enhance the completion of your building project. Whilst removing the metal cover before fitting the light switch you will find all the mounting screw / holes align to where the existing older style plastic switch was mounted, be it HPM, Arlec or Clipsal making your electrical installation costs around the same as your fitting standard light switches.
In some Queenslanders you may find you do not have a cavity ( I.E. single skin wall ) which usually allows for cable routing, therefore conduit maybe required on the wall or architrave. This is where our timber mounting blocks come into play to allow for cabling to enter from the top or bottom and sides. The mounting blocks may have to be packed to allow for the thickness of the conduit and electrical wiring. Our rectangular Tradco Architectural Range of Light Switches also know as Flat Plate Light Switches come in a range of finishers including Polished Brass - Antique Brass - Antique Copper - Polished Chrome - Satin Chrome and Matt Black in a Toggle or Rocker Switch style.
All metal covers are made from sheet brass and then treated to allow for the above finishers.
The internal cover is available as a Brown or White insert and Black, this is noticeable around the perimeter of each rocker or toggle. Rocker Mechanisms come in Brown or White and Black.
All mechanisms used are of the renowned Australian HPM brand.
The covers are made in India especially for the Tradco range
Tradco Architectural Light Switch configurations in a size of 72 mm x 115 mm are available as One Gang - Two Gang - Three Gang and Four Gang while the Architecturally designed Architrave Switches 30 mm x 82 mm come as One Gang - Two Gang and the Three Gang has a size of 30 mm x 108 mm.
All light switches can be mounted in a Horizontal or Vertical position by simply removing the mechanism and inserting in the required position to achieve the look desired. All mechanisms are supplied in the vertical position.
The mechanisms can easily be removed to be replaced with Dimmer or Fan controls as well as TV, Data and Phone mechanisms to complete the same look throughout your building project.
35 Amp -15 Amp and Intermediate Rocker Mechanism can also fitted in the same way.
